Mexico Water

Most of the Mexico water found in resorts, major hotels and good quality restaurants, use purified water for their drinking water and ice cubes.

It's best to avoid all other drinking water and perishables when you are unsure of the water quality.

Mexico's sewer systems can leave much to be desired and unfortunately can become contaminated because of it's state.

You can find bottled water in many local markets and stores and it is a good idea to use them whenever possible.  Be sure that the bottles are sealed from the factory.

Using bottled water to brush your teeth is also a smart idea.

Even eating a salad that had the vegetables washed in tainted water could make you sick.  If you are unsure if the Mexico water is purified be sure to ask.
